De-age your face with Dysport
Dysport® functions much like BOTOX® Cosmetic by relaxing the facial muscles responsible for fine lines and wrinkles. Its active ingredient, Clostridium botulinum, helps smooth unwanted expression lines caused by muscle activity. In addition to softening forehead wrinkles, Dysport® is particularly effective in reducing the appearance of vertical frown lines between the eyebrows.

ABOUT DYSPORT

Using a fine needle, your Physician Assistant will carefully inject Dysport® into the targeted areas. While some patients notice immediate improvements, full results typically develop over the next few days. Each session lasts about 30 minutes, depending on the number of treatment areas.
Dysport® is a popular non-surgical option for reducing signs of facial aging. Although the effects are temporary, they can last up to six months. To maintain their rejuvenated appearance, patients can schedule follow-up treatments as needed. With little to no downtime, many individuals choose to have the procedure done during their lunch break and resume daily activities right away.

FAQ

We use a very small needle for the injections and apply ice along with gentle vibration to the treatment area beforehand to ensure a comfortable, almost pain-free experience.
The injections typically take about 15 minutes to complete. Right after the procedure, the injection sites may appear like small mosquito bites, but they generally fade within 20 minutes. You can return to your normal activities right away, and it’s unlikely anyone will notice you had anything done. We recommend avoiding rubbing the injected areas and limiting vigorous exercise for about four hours after the procedure. Occasionally, a small bruise may develop, which usually lasts about a week but can easily be covered with makeup.
Dysport tends to take effect a bit faster than Botox, with some patients noticing results within 1-2 days. However, the full effect of both treatments typically takes up to two weeks. Each patient’s needs are different, and some may require more medication than others. Occasionally, a touch-up may be needed to achieve the desired results. We always wait two weeks before administering additional injections to ensure the medication has had enough time to fully take effect.
Millions of Dysport injections are given worldwide each year, and the results are typically very effective and satisfying for most patients. However, the success of the procedure largely depends on the skill of the injector. Administering Dysport in the wrong area or concentration can lead to side effects like droopy eyebrows or eyelids, blurred vision, or an uneven smile. In many medical spas or practices, a nurse or physician extender, rather than a physician, may perform the injections. However, most are well-trained and experienced in providing safe, effective results without complications.
When administered correctly, Dysport injections will be subtle and natural-looking, with no obvious signs to the untrained eye. You’ll appear refreshed and relaxed, with stress lines reduced or eliminated, while still maintaining the ability to express yourself freely.
Your skin is constantly in a state of repair, with new cells being generated in the basal layer of the epidermis and gradually rising to the surface over several months to shed. As we age, this process slows down. By preventing the underlying muscles from causing creases that damage the skin, treatments like Dysport allow the skin to repair itself. Pairing Dysport with regular chemical peels, micro-needling, or laser resurfacing can accelerate this process. The combination of Dysport and skin resurfacing provides a potent “1-2” punch to rejuvenate your facial appearance and turn back the clock.
